That’s why I created Album Accelerator — to give artists the structured guidance, expert feedback, and professional production they need to finally release music they’re proud to share with family, friends, and fans.
The Process:
Every Album Accelerator project follows a clear, guided path – taking you from your very first mix, all the way to your final, release-ready masters.
1. Mix Foundations Session
The process starts with a Mix Foundations session. Here, I’ll mix one of your songs to a professional standard, and I’ll create a detailed written breakdown of everything I’ve done to mix your track for you to use as a blueprint to mix all the other songs on your release.
2. Mix Feedback Sessions
You then mix the rest of the songs on the album, using the written breakdown as a guide. As you complete each mix, I’ll review it and send personalized feedback detailing what’s working, what needs to be tweaked, and clear, actionable steps to ensure your mixes sound the best they possibly can.
3. Mastering Session
Once all of your mixes are complete, I’ll master the full project — ensuring every song sounds its best, with balance and consistency across the whole album. I’ll then send you the final files, optimized for streaming, digital download, and CD — 100% ready for release.
The result? A finished EP or album - mixed by you - that you can be proud of
Hi, I’m Alex – a mixing engineer, mastering engineer, and music production coach.
I hold both a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Music Production. I work with artists across a range of styles, such as indie, rock, folk, acoustic, singer-songwriter, country, etc. My mission is to help musicians just like you to produce tracks they’re proud to share.
Who Is Album Accelerator For?
Album Accelerator is a great-fit if:
- You record your own music — whether at home or in a studio — and want to take your mixes to a professional level.

- You care about mixing your own music — you want to mix the songs yourself, while benefiting from professional guidance and support.

Album Accelerator is probably not the right fit if:
- You want your album mixed entirely by someone else — this service is designed for artists who want to mix their own songs (aside from the one track I mix for the project).
- You’re unhappy with your recordings — they don’t need to come from a world-class studio (in fact a home setup is ideal), but if you’re not happy with how your recordings sound, it will be difficult to achieve great mixes.
- You’ve never mixed before — you don’t need to be an expert, and you’ll learn a lot through this process — that’s the whole point — but having some prior mixing knowledge will help you get the most out of this experience.
